When you purchase a Domain Name, you become the Domain Registrant. That means the registrar has notified the registry, you have full control over that domain name for a specified period. This time period is how long you have registered the domain; it can be as long as ten years.

During the transfer process you will need to inform your current (old host) of the new IPS Tag

Top Level Domains are not all managed by a single registry. UK Domains (.uk) are managed by Nominet whilst the others are managed via different registries. They have all have slighly different procedures. Don’t Panic - Our systems are automated and linked to the registries.
If your Domain is a .co.uk or other UK TLD you will need to ask your existing domain provider to change the IPS TAG on the domain to ours which is PDR-IN. Once completed, and under our tag, the domain is transferred.

You will need to create a transfer purchase order to enable this process to be completed.
If your Domain is a .com, net, .org or other TLD you will need to request the EPP (Authorisation) from your current registrar.
Once you have entered the Domain and EPP code (Only for non-UK Domain TLD), configure your domain by adding all the relevant information including, registrant name.
