Information we collect and why

Card payments are taken by our payment provider; we don’t see or store your full card number. We don’t sell your information. We only send marketing if you’ve agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share information with
- Domain registries and registrars, to register and renew your domains (some details may appear in the public WHOIS/RDAP database unless privacy protection applies).
- Payment providers, to take payments.
- Our data-centre, software and email providers, who host and run the services for us under contract.
- Professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement or courts where the law requires it, and a buyer of our business if we sell it.
The content you store on your hosting account is yours. We only access it to provide the service, keep it secure, or where the law requires.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep information
- Account and order records: for as long as you are a customer, then 6 years (accounting and legal claims).
- Support messages: 2 years after the ticket is closed.
- Website visit logs: 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, withdraw consent, and ask for it in a portable format. Email admin@onpointhosts.com; we’ll reply within one month. You can also complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
